60 Years of Pine Lake | “Growing the Pines”

Big things often begin with a vision—and a lot of faith.

In 2008, Pine Lake Fellowship Camp launched the “Growing the Pines” Capital Campaign, with a vision to expand our facilities and create more opportunities for ministry, fellowship, and develop future programs.

What followed was a journey of faith, generosity, hard work, and patience.

Over the next 12 years, countless individuals, churches, donors, and volunteers helped turn that vision into reality. Through their faithful support, the funding and construction of Tall Pines Fellowship Center were completed in 2020.

It’s a place where people gather, friendships grow, churches and families reconnect, and lives are impacted through the ministry of Pine Lake. God has provided in so many ways with this space. Here’s just a few of the ways this facility in increased ministry over the previous years…
  • – Increases PLFC bed capacity by 50+ persons
  • – Serves as the hub for Day Camp summer programs (120 more kids per summer to learn about Jesus)
  • – Allows Pine Lake to host our annual Camp Sale fundraiser after 35+ years of hosting in other locations.
  • Retreat location for dozens of churches, families, and organizations annually.
  • Needed staff office upgrades
As we celebrate 60 years of ministry, we’re reminded that the buildings we enjoy today exist because of people who believed in what God was doing at Pine Lake—and invested in what He could do through it in the years ahead.

We’re grateful for every person who played a part in Growing the Pines.
Your investment continues to make a difference!
